I closed my eyes inside my dream
Terror overtook
My body shook
All that I have feared was happening
I trembled in such fright
My shoulders tense with pain
Legs were locked in place
Heart was palpitating
At once I heard your voice
You reached out from the darkness
My body relaxed, now free from tension
As you told me you'd take me from all that is gray
The evil surrounding dissapated
With just one touch from you
To know you are on my side
And will help me get through
Everything became much brighter
The skies seemed to clear
My fears put at ease
As you chased my nightmares away
